There are many reasons to get a Nintendo DS. Some of the features on the device is among the most robust of any portable gaming console out to date. I think that the Nintendo DS has a great expansion cartridge in the R4i SDHC. This is of course since with the device you can add any number of homebrew software onto the Nintendo DS and it will make the device that much better. You can add emulators and straight homebrew games as well as other software that you can download from the internet. As a matter of fact, the Nintendo DS rocks
